Resources

The Teachers Institute program has the access, through its seminar leaders, to direct teachers through much of the vast informational, historical, and cultural holdings of the University of Pennsylvania in its libraries and museums. Further, some seminar topics may involve exploring the cultural and institutional riches of Philadelphia and its regional environs.

The Institute seeks to support its teacher Fellows through their research with a library use orientation; writing and curriculum workshops; and individual conferences with professors and seminar leaders. Teacher Fellows will find a collegial atmosphere in which teachers with Institute experience, teachers with similar interests from different schools, and of course, the Penn seminar leaders, become personal and professional resources.

As the collection of curriculum units created by Institute Fellows grows each year, teachers will also find that this online archive will become a valuable set of resources to draw upon for themselves, their colleagues, and teachers anywhere with web access.
